Gnudi, which I am reliably told is the latest hot trend. This dish of nettle gnudi with morels is from 8 Hoxton Square, which I visited for lunch last week. Getting my ‘Scandi’ on with the Nordic Bakery‘s potato Karelian pie and egg butter. My love affair with free-range, organic eggs continues. This time from my friend’s hens at the Aigas Field Centre in Inverness-shire. The Got Game platter at The Sun and 13 Cantons, including scotch quail eggs, rare venison steak, sweet potato & goats cheese, asparagus fries with soy & lime and mini venison burgers with celeriac remoulade & spiced pears.
Rib eye steak (rare, of course) and asian steamed buns at Flesh and Buns in Covent Garden. A must-visit for a cool, chilled dinner.
